Bloomsday Poster Exhibit

Bloomsday Poster Exhibit

A complete collection of Bloomsday posters from 1977 to 2013 are on display at the Downtown Library.

The exhibit has been on display every year since 2007 when the library decided it would be fun to showcase a community event. They started with posters that they had on file and reached out the Bloomsday office to fill in some gaps. But it took a visitor to the exhibit to complete the display, he donated the missing poster from early race days that had been hanging on his basement wall.

If payments are mailed to the Treasurer's Office through the U.S. POstal Service, they muct be postmarked on or before the due date (RCW 1.12.070)

Meet me for Snappy Hour

Meet me for Snappy Hour

Snappy Hour anyone? SNAP has teamed up with Max at Mirabeau for a SNAP themed month benefiting their "Creating Opportunities, Building Communities" Capital Campaign. Through the month of April a portion of all food and gift card sales will go toward the organizations efforts to purchase the building they have occupied since 2011.

SNAP has been serving the Spokane community for 50 years and offers a variety of services such as heating assistance, money management coaching, small business loans and homeless housing programs. In 2011 the private non-profit moved into the former Dominican Center near Spokane Falls Community College on Fort George Wright Drive. This year they are hoping to raise the funds to purchase the property.
