Seattle Business' Best Companies to Work For 2011

Seattle Business' Best Companies to Work For 2011

Seattle Business magazine has released their July issue which features the 100 best companies to work for in the State of Washington. There is quite some representation from Eastern Washington. Check out these Spokane Valley based companies that made the list:

Road Construction: Indiana/Sullivan Open House

Road Construction: Indiana/Sullivan Open House

Road construction in the area of Indiana and Sullivan is expected to begin in late July and last until early September. The $1.2 million project will replace the asphalt of the intersection with more durable concrete and install a new right turn lane from Indiana onto Sullivan. The project is funded by Spokane Transit Authority, the Washington State Department of Transportation and the City of Spokane Valley. To help prepare businesses and community members for the traffic impacts, an open house on the project is scheduled for Thursday, June 30th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Father's Day Ride Getaway

Father's Day Ride Getaway

Lets be honest, women can always use another handbag, cashmere sweater, jewelry or day at the spa. My point: women are easy to shop for. So when Mother's Day rolls around, there's a long list of gifts to choose from.

Men on the other hand, that's another story. I man isn't going to love if you get him another wallet. He's not going to love another polo shirt. To him, it's all the same. So, what do you get a man who has everything for Father's Day?

How about a bike ride along the Route of the Hiawatha?
