"Spokane Falls Pictures"

As a photographer myself, I can disclose that the first time I held a camera... it was not a pretty sight. Perhaps it wasn't the case for 11-year old Noel, daughter of author, Craig Goodwin. She wants to be a photographer. Last night they took a trip down to the Spokane River to explore her skills. Due to high levels of runoff, the Spokane River is just ripping through with tons of water to photograph. Check out what she got (see above and below). - Read more at Year of Plenty.

"Maybe I'll frame it or put it in my safe," Beth Tysdal said.

What would you do with it?

Maternity Clothes Under $10

Maternity Clothes Under $10

However, spending so much money on clothes you'll only wear for a few months isn't the way anyone wants to spend their hard earned cash.

But thanks to another local mother and entrepreneur, the pregnant KXLY crew and all other expecting mothers have a new resource for maternity clothes.

Runaway 400 Pound Pig Lassoed, Tased, Shot in Spokane Valley

It started off with a police scanner call: There was a 400 pound pig on the loose at a Conoco gas station in Spokane Valley. Following the double takes, the disbelief and chorus of "Did I hear that correctly?" it was confirmed: There was a pig on the loose in Spokane Valley.

Not a moose, which would be fairly common for this area, but a big pig.
