As a photographer myself, I can disclose that the first time I held a camera... it was not a pretty sight. Perhaps it wasn't the case for 11-year old Noel, daughter of author, Craig Goodwin. She wants to be a photographer. Last night they took a trip down to the Spokane River to explore her skills. Five local high school students won scholarships from Banner Bank and the Spokane Indians.  Each of the five students received a $500 scholarship to use towards their college tuition.  The scholarship-winning students are:  Victoria Karschney (Joel E.

With four women in the KXLY newsroom currently pregnant, there's a lot of talk about pregnancy, babies, motherhood. Among those topics of discussion: maternity clothes. Of course, there's the need. However, spending so much money on clothes you'll only wear for a few months isn't the way anyone wants to spend their hard earned cash.

But thanks to another local mother and entrepreneur, the pregnant KXLY crew and all other expecting mothers have a new resource for maternity clothes.
