4th of July Sing-A-Long with The Singing Nuns | Arts & Culture
Title (Max 100 Characters)
The Singing Nuns came into existence back in 1979 when funds were low and bills had to be paid for the private school and convent. Singing became a way for the the much needed financial support and the Sisters began fitting in practices, appearaces and recordings into their already busy schedules. The singing however, became not only a means of financial support for the convent and school but also became a mission for the Sisters with the singing of hymns and Gregorian chants which was uplifting to the human heart.
If you would like to join the Singing Nuns on the 4th of July for a Sing-A-Long, you can; they will be singing at Mount St. Michael, 8500 St. Michaels Rd., Spokane. You can come enjoy singing, which will begin at 8:25 in the evening and following the singing you can enjoy dessert and watch the city fireworks with a great view from the top of the mountain. The gates are open from 7 to 11pm with a cost of $5 per person; $15 per car or $30 per van. Come have some fun and enjoy a wonderful time of singing.
