Spokane Valley liquor store up for auction | Business

If you'd like to be one of the very first owners of a privately owned liquor store in Washington, the Spokane Valley store on 5004 E. Sprague Ave. is up for auction. You'll need at least $10,000 to place a bid.

The Washington State Liquor Control Board is about to auction off 18 different liquor stores in our state ahead of the crossover to liquor privatization this June. The board will hold a live auction on May 24 for the rights to the stores in Seattle.

The state has already auctioned off 149 liquor stores, paying a total of $25.9 million in bid fees to the state.
