Booze News: Cheney pubs, retirement communities and brandy | Business
A new pub and pizza place is moving into the former Immix Fusion Restaurant venue in Cheney. Zentropa Pizzeria and Pub is moving into 122 College Ave. near Eastern Washington University. Their liquor license application says they’ll be serving beer and wine.
Immix shut down earlier this year in April. Zentropa is expected to open later this year.
Beer and wine coming to retirement community
Residents and visitors of the South Hill’s Touchmark retirement community can soon buy alcohol during their stay.
As long as their beer and wine application is approved by the Washington State Liquor Control Board, the Coffee Cafe, located at 2929 S. Waterford can serve alcohol.

You can find Tinbender Craft Distillery on Facebook now. The small business recently applied for a liquor license to distill brandy in partnership with Knipprath Cellars. They’re currently renting space from the winery and will be starting construction on the distillery later this month.
