There is no room for negativity in Jessica Sharpe's life. The 20-year-old Liberty Lake woman survived a head-on crash that shattered her bones from the pelvis down and seared her left arm with chemical burns, but six weeks and 13 surgeries later she's all smiles.
Jessica is the type of person who humbles you with her positivity. You'll be hard pressed to find anything to complain about after meeting her and learning about what she's been through.
Aviation buffs and people alike are welcomed to Felts Field's Neighbor Day Open House Saturday to view antique, contemporary and rare aircraft.
The 40 displays include the Boeing-40, the restored 1930's era Steerman biplanes that can be seen in the sky above Spokane and the T-6, used by training pilots during WWII.
Commercial operators like Spokane Turbine Center's Kodiak, Inland Helicopter's Robinson and MedStar's emergency medical aircraft will be on site.

Forza Coffee Company is having a grand opening for their new Spokane Valley store this Saturday.
The grand opening kicks off at 8:14 a.m. with a procession of local law enforcement officers from Liberty Lake, Spokane Valley, Spokane County Sheriff's Office and the Washington State Patrol.
