SR: Map Shows Submitted Liquor Licenses in Spokane

If you're wondering if the grocery store around the corner from has applied for the famed liquor license, this very helpful map created by The Spokesman-Review team of web developers and reporters could be of use. It covers all the applications in Spokane County and tells you what store applied and when they applied. The existing license means they already have a license for beer and wine.

Some interesting things to note, the downtown Spokane Rite Aid applied for a liquor license which conflicts with the limits of buying malt liquor.

The South Hill is about to get really boozy. There are three applications at the intersection of 29th & Grand, and four applications in the Lincoln Heights shopping area: Safeway, Rosauers, Trader Joe's and Rite Aid. Even Huckleberry's applied for a license. Does that mean they'll only sell all-natural booze?

This isn't exactly news-worthy, but if you took away the actual map and left the dots, you could still spot where Sprague Ave. is.
