Top Five: Cat Beard, Bald Eagles and Vodka | News

Here's last week's top five stories decided by you. Meaning whatever you liked the most, it's here. We were about to walk out the door on Friday for the weekend when we learned of the injured bald eagle at the Mt. Spokane Veterinary Hospital. Two hours later, we're back with some amazing photography of the bird's long road to a recovery. Along with everyone out there, we hope he makes it.

Also going on in the community, a comic book writer has an epic premise for a comic that includes the trifecta of pop culture: cats, beards and pirates. Arrrr! Or meow! Maybe a mixture of both: Meaar!

Moving along, our news intern wrote a story that made the number three slot. Congratulations to Adam Lippert for his work last week on the Five Wives Vodka story. He made some calls to the Idaho Liquor Division and got an interesting quote from the director.
