Spokane Valley Detectives need the public's help identifying these two men, suspected of stealing from ATM and vending machines. 

These surveillance photos are from Valley Hospital Security after these suspects allegedly broke into and stole money from a vending machine.

Detectives are currently investigating multiple vending machine thefts and believe these two suspects are linked to the ATM thefts that took place this September at the Spokane County Interstate Fair.

KXLY is teaming up with Project Beauty Share and Northwest Harvest to put on the "Spare A Square TP Drive" this month.

This year's goal is to raise 25,000 toilet paper rolls. Dozens of local charities struggle to provide this basic personal hygiene item every year.

One of those charities is St. Margaret's, a homeless shelter for women and children on Spokane's lower south hill.

Linda is one woman who will benefit from the drive, she is a single mother of 9 children. She was homeless for 2 years before moving into the shelter 9 months ago.

She says she doesn't know where she'd be today without the help of Project Beauty Share and St. Margaret's.

"You have a caseworkers to help, you have friends and, ya know, a bed to sleep on. And you have a bathroom, you can take a shower. We didn't have that last year. We didn't have nothing. No income. Ya know, we were on the street. We had to go to the UGM (Union Gospel Mission). It was hard," Linda said.

Linda is working to get her driver's license and a job so she can move out of the shelter.

You may have heard the saying the one man's trash is another man's treasure. One Spokane designer is using that phrase to make clothes out of reuseable materials. 

Rachel Mace is only 22 but she's getting ready to show her designs in one of the biggest fashion events in the United States, New York's Fashion Week. 

"Fashion Week is the biggest event in fashion in our continent," said Mace. 

Fashion Week is known by designers and fashion enthusiasts everywhere as one of the "must attend" events. In fact big names such as Donna Karan and Chanel show their pieces at this event while stars like Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Heidi Klum attend their shows. 

Although Rachel didn't have any formal training as a designer like others that will be at the event, she said she got her start when someone recognized her talent. 

"I went to the store and bought some garbage bags, but when I home and realized I already had some. So I made a skirt out of the new ones," said Mace. 

It was that decision to use reusable materials that helped her get her start.
