Drivers in the Spokane Valley will have to use a detour on Bigelow Gulch starting Wednesday. Spokane County Engineering and Roads will close down Bigleow Gulch between Argonne and Forker for two days for pavement repair.
City officials said the project will cost $425,000 and will include work on the asphalt, ditches and shoulders of the road. The project will start Wednesday and finish Friday.
Bigelow Gulch will be open to traffic during the evening, but daytime traffic will be detoured to Morgan Road and Pleasant Prarie Road.
